A tiny bug inching through a jungle of a rug,
An endless journey four or five feet long.
The hills and then the valleys are a constant test of wills,
Obstacles that quickly make him strong.
But we chuckle at his struggle and how futile it would be,
To live where someone else just wipes their feet.

From a limited perspective, the world is quiet immense,
From a certain point of view, it won’t make sense.
But with 20/20 eyes, when we look back on our lives,
We’ll see the grace filled hand of providence.

Farms are pieced together like a giant patchwork quilt,
And cars "zip" around like busy ants.
The greatest of our mountains are just ripples in the ground,
The largest canyon nothing but a dent.
It’s a glass half-full of hope, or half gone another day,
But to God it’s only one drop either way.
