Who are You that created the heavens,
And with Your fingers placed the stars.
Who am I to be in Your presence,
Covered in blood that flowed from the scars.
Can a statement of love be enough to define us,
Enough to refine us, from such a discrepancy.
The response of a man to a God who has made us,
A God who has saved us, is filled with inadequacy.
I want to thank You, but I don’t know what to say.
I want to follow You, but my life gets in the way.
I want to speak to You, but I don’t know how to pray.
I want to praise You, praise You.
