A tiny crash of painted glass, scattered pieces on the tile,
The father clears away the tears of his broken-hearted child.
The slightest slip and he lost his grip, before he blinked it hit the ground,
Now the clumsy hand holds tight to Dad, the place where hope is found.
Its a broken decoration, a shattered little dream,
Not even the kings horses could mend this tender grief.
And although the fatal moment can never be undone,
Its somehow reassuring for the father to be picking up [comforting/lifting up] his
son.
A marriage vow thats broken now, along with every heart,
No one to blame since both proclaimed, "til death do us part".
But who is there to show they care about the hurt deep inside.
Theres only One who didnt run, and still calls both His bride. (Its like
